Just A Slight Breeze

This one was shot at dusk with a tripod and my camera’s 10s self-timer. When I pressed the shutter release the leafs and flowers were as still as they could be and, a few milliseconds before the 20s exposure started, a slight breeze caused them to move gently. At the time I thought this would result in a garbage shot (one more!), but actually I quite like the outcome.

Wonderful abstract - what a happy accident!
I would have been very tempted to boost the saturation and do a bit more post-processing, but this more pastel scene has plenty of impact of its own. Looks almost like a reflection…
