Bussy #1: Welcome

One of the two entrances to Bussy-la-Pesle, Burgundy — June 2005

Bussy, full name Bussy-la-Pesle, population 50 during summer, 10 during winter, is a small village in Burgundy, hometown of some of my family, where I spent a fair share of weekends during my misspent youth. A few days ago the weather was beautiful and I jumped on the occasion to photograph the village and its surroundings. This image opens the Bussy series that will fill up this week on Urban Zebra. Hope you’ll like it!

Site news: Attentive readers will have noticed that the site’s design has been updated. This was done mainly to allow me to post larger images, something I’ve been pondering for some times now and which was asked for by at least one person. The drawback of course is that now images will take more time to download. Hopefully this won’t be too inconvenient for you; otherwise please tell me and I’ll see what I can do.
