Cloudy Day

Looking through the viewfinder to compose the shot is something I can enjoy with my new 350D. It really is different from the LCD monitor which creates a screen between the picture and the eye. When using the viewfinder I’m kind of “in” the shot. Is it the same for you?

I love the perspective in this shot and that sky is amazing - looks like you’re enjoying your new camera! ;-)

Congrats on the 350D! An SLR really becomes an extension of yourself in ways that no LCD-based camera can - I definitely agree that a camera like the 350D places you more ‘in’ the shot. Can’t wait to see more!

Yes, I agree with you on the LCD although I’ve never quite been able to put it in words. I’ve lately been using the digicam much more than the SLR and couldn’t quite figure out the difference in the “feeling”. Really love my digicam though
