Be sure to view yesterday’s shot before looking at today’s.
Go on. I’ll wait.

Dum … ta-du-dum … dum da-du-da-dum… du-du-dum …
(This is Morcheeba’s The Great London Traffic Warden Massacre playing on my stereo. Glad you asked.)

Oh, you’re back. OK. Now you can look at the following shot of the same sculpture:

I like your second shot more because of the lighting and mystery that it invokes. Both look wonderful in black and white.
Morcheeba fan here too. ![]()

The second one is soooooo much better. The perspective is just much more interesting, almost as if this sleeping woman were lying on a bed near you rather than prominently displayed in a museum. I also think the framing and lighting is much better in this second shot.

Oh my god! Just read your email and took a second look at this picture, and you’re right… it’s definitely not a woman. So sorry. ![]()

I prefer this one too, and would also have thought it a woman if I hadn’t seen luminouslens’s second comment. *laugh* Actually at first glance before I looked properly I thought it was a real person. They’re both good shot though, each evoking a different mood.

Yep, it fooled me too!
