Fuzzy Street

Versailles, last week

This shot is the result of an experiment that turned out not so bad. Once configured in manual mode with a 4 seconds exposure time, I held the camera in front of me while walking on. I’m rather pleased with the outcome. What do you think?

This picture is my (unexpected) entry for lensday Abstract challenge.

It’s different, I’ll give you that. For an abstract, I believe I’d like it better if the white highlight was gone, then maybe if it had some reddish colors in it. This is sort of like painting with a camera-brush, right?

To me this does resemble an abstract painting (except for maybe the white highlights, as Mark pointed out)…I especially like the left half of the image, with its softer green hues.

I really like this shot. It looks like a painting with a great balance of color and texture.
I want to start experimenting with motion, something I’ve not really done.

This is cool, the effect is pleasing. My favorite part is the little gold ripple in the upper left.

I like it. I like also the white highlights. These brighter ripples introduce a different spatial frequency to the image as they are superposed to the diffused blurred softer colors. The effect is quite pleasing and interesting.

I like this one very much! I find it warm, really pleasant with its yellow tones. I specially like the blurry effect at the bottom-left
