Orange Night

Versailles, yesterday

Yesterday’s shooting session wasn’t very productive. I was out with my tripod under a slight drizzle and most of the forty-or-so shots I took came out like crap. This is one of the few that could be salvaged. I wish I could have done without the bush in the lower-right corner but my path was blocked by the gate which can be guessed by its shadow at the bottom.

I felt that way about my shots too. I went out last night and took around 50 shots or so, and ended up with harly anything worth posting. It was slightly drizling here too, cold and windy.

This shot is nice by the way, and yes it is a shame that the bush obsures it a bit, but I still think it’s good shot! (and least it hasn’t got lens flare like half of mine have!)

I know that sensation, when you took many photos and after you look them on the screen and think ‘uhm…. time wasted’.
It’s quite sure anyway that maybe after some time you see the same photos and think ‘Uhm, they are not so bad. And look at this is cool!’. And so on…
Anyway your shot is nice.

I think the shot works well. Nice color and atmosphere.

I really like the picture as it is! The colours and the tone are beautiful and additional it has something mystic which makes the picture even more interesting!
