Rouen – August 2005
The building was very dark in the original image as the camera metered for the white sky, so I pushed the luminosity a bit, which results in the strange colors and texture. Hope you’ll like it.

Very nice. It’s almost Monet
(but he was an impressionist, and painted the Rouen cathedral at different hours of the day!)

Beautiful shot. Creates a dark mood that fits perfectly for the architectural style.

John: Thanks, I take it as a rule now not to discard a shot before it’s been given a chance in Photoshop.
