Between Blue and Purple
This is one of the many many flower shots I took at the Villandry Gardens in May. Using my flash unit I was able to darken the background while keeping enough details in the flower.
I don’t know why, but if you’re viewing this photo in an ICC-aware browser such as Safari, the flower should appear purple, otherwise it will look blue. Another mystery of color management… (And to be honest, I don’t recall for certain the actual color of the flower; my guess is that is was something between blue and purple).
