You have a lot of really awesome pictures here on your blog.
I would like to know how to shoot such amazing fireworks… can you give some hints ? How to you do the focus ? Did you use the AF or manual ?

Thanks Jan. Someday (as soon as my laziness has left me) I’ll write an article on how to shoot fireworks. By then I would summarize the operation as follows: 100 ISO, manual AF once you’ve found the focus point after the first few shoots, manual metering, cable release, and mirror lock-up. There’s also an insightful Earthbound Light PhotoTip that might be useful. Good luck!
