Great subject. It looks like a church sculpture? But it has a such an unsual day-dreamy expression for one of those.

Flavigny is a village in Burgundy with a strong religious history. I don’t know for sure but it’s very likely that the sculpture comes from some church in the region. The contrast with its lunar, near bored, expression is what drove me to take this shot.

Very interesting subject but I think it’s too centred in the frame.
