As noted by sAm in yesterday’s shot comments, the “before” link that used to be present in the top-left of the home page has disappeared. This seems to be a side effect of the upgrade to WordPress 1.5.2. I’ll take a look as soon as possible; in the mean time, you can either browse the archives or first go to the permanent page of the current shot (by following the permalink) then use the “before” link that, for some reason, hasn’t disappeared from the post pages.

Also, Mark asked for more info on the lomo effect used in the i am what i am photo. You can get a step-by-step explanation at Kingyo Senbei. In summary: use overlay blend mode.
