Urban Zebra is still experiencing intermittent difficulties. This seems to be a problem with my webhost so there’s not much I can do. Sorry for the trouble.
Last weekend I went to the Eiffel tower for the first time in something like fifteen years. We took the lift to the second floor which offered a beautiful and impressive sight, despite the strong mist that filled the sky and blocked off the view. Today’s photo was shot from the ground, a few minutes before entering the queue to the lift.

This photo gives a feeling of strength. Looks like a large steel body builder flexing.

This is pretty special. I realize just how dificult it is to say something new about so cliche a subject, and you have managed to do just that. Very well seen.

Very good light, and quite an unusual symmetry: looks like a mirror reflection between the left and right part.

Andreas, I really like this one. Great perspective and angles, and a unique shot of such a well known sight. Very nicely done.

Great take on such an oft-photographed subject. I have a photo from this angle, but it’s crap compared to yours!

To echo the other comments, you’ve chosen a great perspective and it works extremely well. One of your best images to date, IMO.

Superb shot! This has such a lacelike quality - strength in its delicacy. Very effective in b/w.

Beautiful point of view of the construction. The light and shadow are playing a nice game.
