A few seconds later it was gone
I quite like the simplicity of this shot. The clouds’ texture and luminosity complement the silhouettes of the bird and of the wire. What do you think?
In other news, my ‘Support’ shot is now waiting for your constructive critiques at Photoblogs Magazine. Thanks to them for publishing it! If you’re in the mood, don’t forget to leave your opinion on the other shots submitted to the magazine.
Also, today has seen the birth of a new How-To section where I plan on publishing short articles describing the techniques I use when post-processing digital images. The articles list is always accessible by clicking the ‘How-To’ link at the top of each page. For now you can read the articles about image sharpening and black & white conversion; check them out and tell me what you think!

I think it’s a bit too simple. Maybe if the line were diagonal things would have looked more dynamic.
I did notice the How-To links earlier this morning, I think they’re a good idea though for the Desaturation one, with the first method, I think its versatility would be best illustrated by showing the result with 2-3 different Hue settings.

~sometimes ‘less is more’ pays off, as the case is here~

Not too simple, it is just right! I like it, simplicity is something I usually strive to achieve, and you did it with this shot.
